South Africa is located on the southern tip of Africa. Countries that border South Africa to the north include Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, and Mozambique. Lesotho is a country which is landlocked inside South Africa.
South Africa is home to the Big 5 and many other animals. In South Africa, you can go to national parks and safaris to see all these animals. My favourite national park is Kruger National Park in the northern part of South Africa. Kruger National Park is the largest wildlife sanctuary in South Africa and a must-see place. If you are not a fan of animals but love plants, South Africa has you covered! The Namaqualand flowers bloom every August and September and are a must-see if you love plants.
